Reconstruction
and Development
In
countries that have undergone armed conflict or natural disasters,
or which have large populations of refugees or displaced persons,
we work to support the local population as they strive to recuperate
their daily lives. More specifically, we carry out projects in the
following areas:
- Reconstruction
of homes and infrastructure
- Regeneration
of the economy through income-generating projects
- Support
for the provision of basic services such as education and
physical and mental health
- Environmental
recuperation
- Strengthening
of civil society.
Since
the launch of its reconstruction and development program in 1998,
RESCATE has implemented over 65 projects in the following
